This is my new image I decided to use as my DeviantID on DeviantART. It's me...holding one of my little clay figures. I like to mess around with gimp every now and then....yes, I use gimp, because I'm a poor starving art student trying to get through college, and I can't afford photoshop at the moment. I am definitely NO professional at it. I just enjoy tinkering and trying new things. So, yea....enjoy X3

A touch of photography...
I took this photo spontaneously at school while hanging out with my friends. My best friend had written I love you on her boyfriends hand and my eyes caught an angle that I couldn't resist while they were goofing around. I told them to freeze and I grabbed my friends phone and snapped the picture. XD Then after sending it to my email account I messed with it on photoshop and BAM...art! ^_^ Enjoy....

Life ^_^
Okay! Are you ready? <_< .........Good! ^_^ Because it's time!!!! It is time for me to reveal to you my personal favorite pieces from Life Drawing! *cue the applause!* Together these three pieces are titled the "Life" series. I couldn't be more satisfied with the statements I got when I showed them in the final critique. What touched me the most was when my instructor said, "I love how you've taken what you've learned in life drawing and brought it back home." I felt amazing hearing this because it means that I've been able to develop a style of imagery that people recognize within my work consistently. *cue the applause again!* Thank you, thank you. *bows*
I was so stoked for this class after reading what we were going to be doing. All I had to hear was drawing from our thoughts and subconsious and I got excited. Because thats how I roll with my imagery! So here you have them....Life ^_^

A few of my favorite things....
-The immediate sense of relief when sitting down to draw after a long hard day. The thoughts can relax and be at ease and the hand and imagination are free to roam.
- The longing to catch the eye and interest of a single person with each creation.
-Those moments when hearing a word or sentence and it immediately sparks the emotion of being inspired within.
-The overwhelming sense of joy and eagerness to create when getting over artist's block. It's like wanting to jet off like a rocket with your creativeness!
- That sense of release and letting go then working furiously like a maniac. It's one of the ultimate feelings when drawing, painting...creating. ^_^ I crave it.
- The pride felt when people compliment my artwork.
- The excitement and eagerness to grow and learn as an artist and person. The want to hit the ground running and take in as much knowledge as I can.
- The want to meet new people and show them what I can do and take in what they can also.
-The feeling of accomplishment after finishing a creation.
- That feeling of accomplishment after completeing an art class for the semester. I came, I listened, I learned, I drew, I worked hard, I fell, I got back up, I gave it my all, and I conquered. As I stand before my work, covering the wall, each semester I smile a little, have my moment, then nod and say "...Good job." Then I go on my way with my head held high and my pride intact...having grown as an artist and as a person.
Heck yea...I'm an Artist! XD
